Tailwheel training testimonial

Subject: tailwheel training – highly recommended

I don’t post much to the list as I’m usually busy reading all the good advice the rest of you post, but for a change I have something to share.

Yesterday I completed my tail wheel endorsement and in a sense my real private pilot’s certificate, as I’ve never been challenged so much or taught so much as I was with Tony Markl. Tony, with 17,000 hours, is a pilot’s pilot. We have all known skilled pilots, but few can pass this knowledge on like Tony. Tony is from the old school, he is going to make you learn it the right way and not just go through the motions. As Tony teaches out of Ridgely, MD on the eastern shore, the drive for me was around 2 hours, but I willingly made it four times not only for the endorsement, but for the opportunity to learn from a master.

Tandem seating in a 1947 L-15 Aeronca, flying around the grass strips and learning everything you need to know about flying, how can you beat it (all at a bargain price)? If you really want to learn to fly and do it while getting your tailwheel endorsement give Tony Markl a call at 410-482-7777 or send an email to markl@intercom.net.

Cheers,

Richard Ellis
