Greetings Tony and Pat,
I want to let you know the J5 is flying!
And thank you for your support, help and friendship through the project.
I had a 6-month process with the FAA to get field approval for Cleveland wheels on the J5.
Everyone (including FAA guys) that looks at the airplane remarks on the fabric, detail and rib stitches!
I appreciate the PolyTone process for the ability to keep paint mix for touch-up and gluing patches to existing paint.
Enclosed please find two recent photos of first flight and Seth this past Sunday, April 5, 2009.
We are looking forward to seeing you again.
We will plan to fly the J5 for a visit.
If you come our way, please stop by.
Good spring for all!
                                Larry, Wendy & Seth
