My name is Michael Moore and I am
currently living near Ocean City, MD. This is my feeble attempt at providing a
webpage of worth to the general public. I am married to a wonderful
woman, Ruth, and have three children. I was released from the bondage of
sin by God's Grace in 1984. I praise Him for the blessings and abundant
life He has provided since. I am Reformed in my views and have a love
for the puritans and can think of nothing more enjoyable than reading their
works. My good friend and beloved Pastor for 10 years from 1985-1995, Dr. Herbert Samworth was the person who most influenced my life and directed
me to the writings that are second only to the Bible itself. My favorite
Puritan is Thomas Manton, and I
would have centered my page on him if his page were not already available.
After spending time on the internet, I saw that most of the puritans were
represented. Edward Payson, though not a puritan, certainly was of the
same mind. After seeing that no pages or even information was available
on the internet concerning him, I chose him as my subject. I pray that by
reading his sermons, you too may find the joy and blessings that I have.
