The pipe can be taken apart for travel or storage. It can be adjusted for height. All adjustments are made with large, finger-friendly knobs that are easy to turn. The red oak wood used in the stand is known for its strength. The wide base design makes it very stable. When lighting is needed, a conventional desk lamp without the adaptor will slip into the pipe stand and will illuminate the working surface. Many rug hookers like to paint or otherwise personalize or embellish the unstained wood surface. The Hook-it stand can be used with a Puritan frame. Cost - $60. |
