Somerset Central dispatches the Princess Anne Police Department and the Somerset County Sheriffs Department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the Crisfield Police Department from Midnight to 8:00 a.m. everyday and 24 hours on Sundays. Calls necessitating response from Maryland State Police, Natural Resources Police, or the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Campus Police are transferred to those agencies.
