Worship Services

The Eucharist, or Holy Communion, is our principal way of worshipping. From early September until early June, we celebrate with Rite I at 8:00 a.m. each Sunday. At 10:30 a.m., we celebrate with choir and organ and use Rite II.

During the hot summer months we hold one service at 9:30 a.m on Sundays and meet in the air-conditioned parish hall. We usually alternate between the traditional and the contemporary rites.

The Bishop of Easton is the Right Reverend Martin G. Townsend. His office is at Trinity Cathedral, Easton, MD (phone 410-822-1919). The Rector of Saint Alban's is The Reverend Doctor M. Douglas Girardeau. He has been our pastor since 1986 (home phone 410-548-2636). The Deacon Assistant is Reese S. Rickards. He has been assigned by the Bishop to minister at Saint Alban's since 1993 (home phone 410-546-3229).
