Two remote receive sites
One relay site
This system consists of the Accomac repeater, and Eastville repeater.
The Accomack antenna (150') located on the County Sheriff's tower
in Accomac, Virginia. The Eastville antenna (150') on the WHRO PBS
tower.
Remote receive sites serving the only the Accomac repeater are located
in
Mappsville and Craddockville, Virginia.
These sites improve listening coverage in areas to the north and south
of the Accomac site. A relay station linking the Accomac and
Eastville
repeaters is located in Wachapreague Virginia.
NEW Update:
Frequencies: Accomac rptr K4BW on 147.255+
PL of 156.7 but COR access available
by transmitting '500' with your keypad.
COR access defaults to PL after one minute of inactivity. The two remote
rcv sites require PL
The North receiver is 162.2 at all times.
The South receiver is 151.4 at all times.
Autopatch is available on this rptr. Contact trustee for access info.
Eastville rptr 147.345+ PL of 156.7 at all times (no COR access).
Accomac UHF rptr K4BW on 444.300+ PL of 156.7 at all times.
These three repeaters are normally linked and a DHE voter at Accomac
determines which incoming signal will be retransmitted. Due to
a scanning
delay in the remote receivers, fast turnover between stations will
cause loss
of the first couple of words in your transmission, (hint) key up for
a couple
of seconds prior to start of your conversation.
