"Jon was originally a tech. He was good at what he did, and had always wanted to fly. He had a medical problem, though which wouldn't let him. He was in a shuttle accident, and lost his depth perception at age 5. He recovered quickly, and you couldn't tell that he had a problem by working with him. The fact that it was there, though, got him banned from the pilots seat. He was never good at any sports after the accident, so he grew in intellect. He graduated from college at the top of his class, with a Bachelors in Electronic Science and Mathematics. His dream of flying never died, though. He was in the sim's whenever the pilots were gone on his various ships. He became very good at it, but no one ever noticed. 5 ship assignments ago, he was aboard the BWS Armadillo, a heavy destroyer, their ship was attacked by 5 Excalibur class fighters and 2 Longbows. Most of the pilots were dead, and his good friend, Vince Lee, was badly damaged in an Avenger. He took out a Banshee, thinking "if I don't, I'm dead anyway,"and joined the battle. 3 of the Excaliburs were dead, and both Longbows were almost to the ship. Jon took control with his quick assessment. He sent Vince after the Longbows, an he went after the remaining Excaliburs. He took down the Excaliburs, one after another, and joined Vince to finish of the last Longbow. Captain Jacobson, the captain of the Armadillo, said that he would put in good word for Jon to be put into active duty elsewhere... as a PILOT! He quickly worked up the ranks, but he had decided long ago that he would decline promotions after Colonel. He was a good pilot, and enjoyed the job. Nothing would get him out of the cockpit."

Submitted Bio:
Warmonger was a privateer until he killed a very deadly Kilrathi
ace while patrolling New Constantinople. Then a Confed captain
approached him with an offer to become a 'Fed officer. Warmonger
followed his dream. While in the Confederation, Warmonger was one of the
main players in the "Holy Wars" skirmishes with the Retro fleets,
earning him a comission in the Confederation Marines, and a promotion to
Major. Shortly after he transferred, he was privy to some of the
Confederation's secrets, including some that hadn't reached the outside,
something about genetics. He was pondering his options when he was
patrolling around, and saw Border Worlds carriers. He flew towards them
with his shields down, as a sign of peace. They let him land on the BWS
Carthage. He was allowed to defect, and was given command of the BWS
Aztec's Marines, as a bird Colonel.
While on patrol, Warmonger ran across an old friend,
Confederation Space Force Capt. Renee "Shakespeare" Varnois. She jumped
him, and was about to kill him, when she recognized him. Warmonger
convinced her to come with him. They were married after a month on the
Aztec together. She is now the executive officer of SVMF-221, Daemon
Squadron, under Warmonger's command.

Renee was just an average cadet until she collided with "Warmonger"
Stephenson in the hallways of Perry Naval Base. After that, she knew she
loved him. After she graduated from the Space Force Acadamy, she helped
out Warmonger in the "Holy Wars" incidents, earning a promotion to
Captain. Soon afterwards, Warmonger defected to the Border Worlds, and
wasn't heard from again. She became bitter, and soon became known as
"Frost Queen", for her short temper. Soon, she was on patrol around
Rygannon when she spotted a lone UBW Vindicator. She jumped it, and was
about to destroy it when she recognized Warmonger, now a Marine Colonel
in the UBW. He convinced her to come back with him, and she joined him
on the BWS Aztec. After living a month ther, they have gotten married.

"Mike lived on Perry Naval Base a long time ago where his mom was a
fighter pilot. She was ambushed while doing a patrol in a Broadsword, and
was killed. Mike and his father moved to the hermes system (the sytem in
Beltor with the jump point to Gemini) where his dad was a farmer. Mike
signed on with the militia and was a bomber pilot, just like mom. He
served for 4 years before he and Melissa Boub (Lady Laser's sister) got
married and they became merchants. They were attacked by pirates, and the
top turret was hulled where Melissa was. She was asphyxiated, and Mike
rejoined the Hermes System Militia. He served briefly on the BWS Tango
during the Confed BW conflict."
