What is Upper Shore Aging, Inc.?

Upper Shore Aging, Incorporated (USA), is a nonprofit organization, founded in 1975, which is primarily committed to developing and managing programs for the elderly in the counties of Kent, Caroline and Talbot in eastern Maryland. We are designated as an Area Agency on Aging (AAA), per the Older Americans Act, and as such we are the lead agency for meeting the needs of at least 18,000 elderly persons in our service area. We work very closely with the Maryland Office on Aging, administering 15 major programs for, and advocating on behalf of, the elderly clients we serve.

We depend upon funding from the Federal Government, the State of Maryland, the counties we serve, monetary contributions from our clients, charitable giving, grants, and the efforts of many volunteers to positively impact the lives of our program participants.
