 Introduction

There are thousands and thousands of nonprofit agencies throughout the world today. Managing effectively, attracting helpful volunteers, and getting noticed are a just a few of the many tasks that are involved in this caring industry. The WWW can be a tool to aid nonprofits in achieving their goals, and this page is intended to help illustrate a small sample of the resources on the web that can assist.

One way to see how nonprofits can use the web effectively is visit the nonprofit web sites who have received Web site excellence awards. Twelve non-profit web sites demonstrate excellence in ten categories and were recognized at the first annual "Nonprofits Online" conference.
