It's time to empty the attic and turn that backburner project into a work of art! Prize winning artist Sally Clark brings a one-day furniture painting workshop to the Arts Council in February. Learn how to refinish your furniture in a variety of techniques: marbleizing, stenciling, washes, combing, glazing, etc. All materials will be provided, but each student must bring a small piece of furniture, or provide pieces of primed wood for practice. The furniture, either old or new, should be sanded, and primed prior to class. (Sally recommends Linsser 123, white pigmented water based primer). Bring lunch, or purchase lunch downtown.
