To Provide community based educational programs.
To provide technological training to disadvantage youth and establish a
community network.

Improve Youth Education
The problems the youth are facing in the local area are poverty, lack
of
direction, and an on-going educational program. Unless the basic needs
are met
within the community such as food, clothing and shelter, education
cannot begin.
The Pocomoke Self-Help Program has structured a program to meet these
basic
needs.

EDUCATION OPERATION: Program Accomplishment:
1. Recruited educator from the Worcester County Board of Education
2. Designed a structure community after school program .
3.Working with the University of Maryland Eastern Shore to gain access
to excess computers.
4. Established a college educational funding program
Grantor Support:
Funding for staffing support: - The educational program is in needs
of staffing
for tutoring and associated educational programs. A portion of
the income the
youths earn from farming, restaurant and other community activities
will be
deposited for the youth education. This will allow economically
disadvantaged
youths a better quality of education. These education structures
are created at
the grass root levels within the community to solve problems. This
will allow
economically disadvantaged youth a system to help themselves and
this will
reduce the burden to the government.
COMPUTER SUPPORT (Scientific):
Program accomplishment:
1. Recruited a retired member who has over 25 years experience
in the Scientific
Community.
Grantor Support:
The scientific program is in need of staffing for network design
and software
support. The methodology is to install a computer network in the
poverty area
linking to the information super highway. This will allow the poverty
community
access to information.
