Purpose of Your YMCA
The Lower Shore Family YMCA strives to provide and opportunity for the entire community to participate in quality programs.
Facility Equipment
A full line of 10 Body Master stationary weight lifting stations designed for use by all ages from age 13 through senior citizens! All fitness levels welcomed! The Y also offers the use of 10 pieces of cardiovascular exercise machines, including 3 Lifecycle Bikes with Heart Rate Monitors, 2 Lifecycle Stair Steppers with Heart Rate Monitors, 2 Concept II Rowing Machines with adjustable resistance, and treadmill with adjustable speed.
YMCA Location
Located in the front section of the Market Street Exchange Building on the corner of 5th and Market Streets in Pocomoke City, next to the Fire House.

The new facility which will be located on Rt. 113 in Pocomoke, has begun. We had our groundbreaking ceremony on October 30, 1999. Construction will take appoximately one year but could be done sooner. We look forward to serving the community with new and exciting programs in the future.

Program Information
Various programs are offered to all age levels at different times of the year depending on interest, available space and instructors. Please feel free to call the YMCA in you have a special program interest or skill to offer.

Registration Information
Pre-registration for all programs is required to help plan for the program, as well as to help ensure not being closed out of any program. Many programs have minimum and maximum enrollment levels.

Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 9:00 pm
Friday 8:30 am - 8:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Snow Ball
The Lower Shore Family YMCA is holding its fourth annual "Snow Ball" on Saturday, February 12, 2000 from 6:30 - midnight at the Pocomoke Elk's Lodge. The Snow Ball is a semi-formal event which raises funds to support on-going programs at the YMCA.

We will have live music the night of the event. In addition to the live music and dancing, the event will feature hors d'oeuvres, raw bar, cash bar, a silent auction of artworks by local artists, and a 50/50 sweepstakes.
