videotapes related to children with disabilities. Video #6, entitled "Honoring

LDA/LS is sponsoring a workshop on phonological awareness presented
by M. Therese Kelly, B.A., M.L.A., the current Director of
the New Heights Learning Center in Towson, MD. Ms. Kelly has an extensive
background in the educational field; including teaching on the secondary
level, serving as an Assistant Principal, working as a faculty member for
the Sheppard Pratt National Center for Human Development and acting as
the Community Educator at the Sexual Assault Recovery Center in Baltimore.
She has received training from the Lindamood Bell Learning Processes program
in San Luis Obispo, CA and currently teaches a Language Skills Training
class approved for Continuing Education Credits by the American Speech-Hearing
Association and Towson State University. This workshop will provide insight
into phonological awareness as it relates to language skills. Please let
