Something I didn't think of when we were setting up the WebCam was that it is also a great opportunity to show my friends and family in Holland how I was doing. When I told them that we had a web-cam, the first couple of e-mails that I recieved back were requests. "We haven't seen you for quite some time now, go stand in front of the camera we want to see you."
Especially my girlfriend really liked to see such a current picture of me
on the web. Being able to e-mail each other already keeps me in close
The way we experience the World Wide Web right now is just the beginning. With all these creative minds searching for, and working on, new features for the internet there is still a lot to come. That is why it is so cool to be part of the cyber society right now. Just like a lot of people still remember the first TV in their city, we will remember the first WebCam on Delmarva.
