with us here at ICNet. He returned home for a
few weeks, and sends us this report...)
Friends:
All of a sudden I have
so much time again. It was nice to visit everyone
again, these have been very busy days.
I look forward to start working again. All my friends
work or go to school during the day now anyway so
there is not a lot I can do. Well actually I still
have some studying to do, I guess I should be doing
that...
News of the day over here is that 70 persons
in the French government have signed a paper about
boycotting Dutch products to force the Dutch govern-
ment to change it's drugs policies. They say that
Holland is to blame for their drug problem.
A couple
of Dutch journalists did a test and found out that
the French police don't really check people for
drugs, and drugs are available all over the country,
however they do check every car coming from Holland
so they can point the finger at the Dutch government
when somebody gets on their case about drugs.
I know it's not really a big deal, but everybody was
talking about it today and I thought it was pretty
interesting. Of course there is a lot more to it than
what I just told you but this is the basic idea.
Well for the rest there is only wonderful weather and
beautiful girls outside, somethings never change :)
See ya in a while, Geert
