We Thank Our Many Friends

One of the traits commonly found among those who compute a great deal is a general lack of what are called "the social graces".
Consequently, few things strike terror into our hearts here at the Village as the notion of having to deal with other human beings on a social level, and we confess there was some terror leading up to the Grand Opening.
But we are blessed with many things, and most importantly, the many good friends we have in our customers, friends, and business associates.
It was their social graces that made our Grand Opening grand, and that it was. We talked, we laughed, we visited and shared refreshments, and in a word... we had lots of fun.
So once again, we find ourselves in debt to you, our many friends and supporters, who always share with us the joy of our continued success here at the Computer Village.
Special thanks is due to those whose extra efforts made our get-together a success... to Cam Miller, who spent Friday evening preparing the classroom, and actually IRONING the display covers.
And to our good friend Mike Cheney and Q-105 Radio whose clever radio ads brought many visitors to our door. (Mike's a geek, by the way. You can email him at mcheney@shore.intercom.net.)
And of course to the Pweedlemeister, Patti Weeg, who sends these pictures along with her best regards to everyone, and reminds us with a sly grin...
"It takes a whole village to raise a child."
And so it is. The Computer Vilage is off and running, it will be fun for all of us to grow with it.

(On behalf of Marta and John Ward, Richard Mitchell, and the staff at The Computer Village and ICNet, we thank all of you for your continued patronage and support.)
