HOME OF THE "BRAVES"
Pocomoke Middle School, a Title I school, which serves 543 students in grades 4 to 8, is located in Pocomoke City, Maryland in Worcester County. We are 30 miles south of Ocean City and four miles north of the Virginia line. The school was built in 1970 and has recently been renovated to include more classroom space There are 83 staff members serving the needs of our students.

The students, parents, and staff at PMS have much to be proud of in regards to student achievement. PMS has been recognized by the MD State Department of Education, each of the past two years, for significant and sustained improvement on the MSPAP. PMS is also a 2001-2002 award winner for its Character Education Program.
