Pinehurst fifth-grader Jeff Leggett, front, and sixth-graders Taylor White, Sarah Randrup, Dina Kamand and Chris Casazza work in the computer lab after school with their instructor, Sandy McNelia.
Pinhurst Elementary School is using its computer lab for after-school tutoring in math and reading. Students who need extra time to master computer skills are benefitting from the program, instructed by Sandy McNelia.
Here are some comments from a few of our students:

"I think Mrs. McNelia is a great help to me. When I come to computer, my grades go up." (Liz Elliott 5th grader)
"I think after-school tutoring is a great way to learn more and it gives you a better education." (Sarah Randrup 6th grader)
"I think computer tutoring is a great idea! I like it because it enables me to get a better grade in computer." (Tiana Alonzo 6th grader)
"I believe this program helps let students boost their grade averages." (Chris Casazza 6th grader)
"I think that computer tutoring is very fun! It also helps your computer scores." (Dina Kamand 6th grader) Since this picture has been put on the internet Dina has moved to Texas. Dina, if you see this, we miss you very much!
