Bennett Middle School is striving to reach the state satisfactory goal of 70% in all areas measured by MSPAP by the year 2000. These areas include reading, writing, language usage, science, math and social studies. Every teacher includes reading skill enhancement activities in daily instructional planning. Our strong academic program is supported by content-based activities that involve challenging our students through higher-order thinking skill development, multiple intelligence focuses, writing in all content areas, and cooperative learning opportunities.
